LAUNCH Media And EMI Recorded Music Enter Into Online Music Video License

Under the terms of the agreement, America Online will work with Net2Phone to create AIM-branded Internet telephony products and services, including an AIM-branded card that offers AIM users low-cost Internet Telephony. These new products and services will bring low-cost, convenient communications services to the more than 37 million AIM users and allow them to place and receive telephone calls in a number of different ways.

DIRECTV And NHL Announce Exclusive Satellite Distribution Agreement For NHL® CENTER ICE® Package
EL SEGUNDO, CA -- The National Hockey League and DIRECTV, Inc., announced a multi-year extension of their existing agreement to deliver the NHL CENTER ICE subscription package to DIRECTV customers. The agreement grants DIRECTV exclusive satellite distribution rights of the NHL package, which features up to 30 regular-season NHL games a week, through the 2001-02 season. Additional terms of the agreement were not disclosed. "We have offered NHL CENTER ICE to DIRECTV customers since the 1994-95 season, and our new agreement builds on five years of a successful partnership," said NHL Vice President of Business Affairs &Special Assistant to the COO, Doug Perlman.
